Hi there, I'm Aaron Barrett, the Founding Director of The Draughting Machine. I have been driving the cogs for architects and designers in New Zealand for over 20 years. My genuine passion for draughting, and technical expertise, means I take complete ownership of my client’s projects; ensuring deadlines are met, and documentation is of the highest quality and accuracy.

Project Collaboration
Aaron specializes in producing architectural drawings for Tender, Building Consent and Construction for medium to large scale projects, both in the commercial and residential sectors. He manages this part of the process from a remote office in close collaboration with the designer, ensuring compliance with all relevant council and building regulations, co-ordinating the design with other disciplines involved and applying his innovative problem-solving skills.
Services Offered
The Draughting Machine is an outsource documentation service for architects and designers. There’s no fancy offices, no fancy work cars and because we work in cyber space, there’s no fancy dress code either. The only thing fancy about us, is the quality and efficiency of our draughting.
Draughting

Thorough understanding and application of building regulations and legislation, including local council knowledge.

Full project documentation preferred or substantial part package.
Project Contracts
Project by project based contract. Remote office outsource service or in-house by special arrangement.
